Class Information
The Pre Licensing Education and Continuing Education requirements took effect July 1, 2007 for all Bail and Recovery Agents. Twelve hours of pre license education is required prior to obtaining a bail or recovery agent license in Indiana. Six hours of continuing education is required prior to renewing your bail and recovery agent license. Both licenses are renewed every two years.
The ISBAA provideds continuing education at no charge to its active members. One and half hours of continuing educatin is provided both at the Spring and Fall meetings. The ISBAA will hold four meetings during a two year renewal cycle allowing active members to obtain the required six hours of continuing education. The next meeting is scheduled for May 13, 2008.
Pre License Classes
B.A.I.L. LLC will conduct a 12 hour pre-license education course on June 25 and 26th, 2008, six (6) hours each day. Classes begin promptly @ 9:00 AM. Lunch at a local restaurant will be provided free of cost.
The cost of the course will be $350.00 in advance and $400.00 at the door. The location will be determined by the number of enrollees and be announced at a later date.
